This program is available to any prisoner leaving Fulham Correctional Centre using public transport. Prisoners may apply (in the prison) for a bag for release from the Bridge Foundation.
Bags are then placed in the prisoner’s property prior to release. Bags may be new or second-hand and an army of volunteers donates bags in good condition.
Without this program many prisoners leave Fulham with their belongings in the plastic garbage bag.

Bags can be left during business hours at:
Kilmany Uniting Care
126 Raymond St., Sale
49 McCulloch St, Bairnsdale,
for the Bridge Bags for Release program.
